Organic Fruit products for food professionals
Harvested products are thoroughly selected and cleaned before freezing them instantly. Alternatively they are transformed right away as fresh fruit.
We can supply the following products:
Fruit-juice concentrates
Made from fruit juice by carefull extraction of a certain natural water content through vaporisation or freezing. Usually produced out of frozen fruits. The Brix content varies according to the quantity to be extracted.
Fruit-juices
Press juice, to 100 % consisting of the name-giving fruit (citrus fruit juice made exclusively from the Endocarp). Cloudy or clear. Clear means filtrated and with fining
Purees
Made From the strained edible part of the whole or peeled fruit without separation of the juice
IQF (frozen fruits as IQF or bloc)
An acronym for Individually Quick Frozen. A commercial process whereby fruit are rapidly frozen in individual pieces before packaging. This process if very effective in preserving taste, texture and nutrient values. This process is opposite to the block freezing. Here the fruit are frozen slowly in blocks, which can take some hours. The IQF freezing process is much more expensive than block freezing
Canned fruit
Are durable made fruit or fruit preparations, which are packed in air-tight containers e.g. jerry cans and then heated to to a temperature that destroys contaminating microorganisms. A distinction is drawn between full canned fruit, which can be stored without cooling and half canned goods, which must be stored chilled
Fruit preparations
Consist of fruit, added sugar, glucose syrup, thickeners, e.g. modified starch, pectin, fibre and potentially added flavour. Theres is distinguished between pasty and lumpy preparations.
